Mike and Natalie have renovated a lovely old Bajan home and created an apartment called Little Welches.

They like to think that they have incorporated all the elements to make this your home away from home.

They now want to share their love of their home in beautiful Barbados with you.

Little Welches Apartment is ranked in the top 1% of homes in Worthing based on Airbnb ratings, reviews, and reliability. Mike Embleton, has an Airbnb Superhost rating.

The name Little Welches is a tribute to Mike’s grandparents beach home, which overlooked Welches Beach on Welches Road near Oistins in Christ Church. The property was sold in the 1980s. Up until recently Little Welches was used as a Doctor’s Surgery. Little Welches was demolished in 2024 when the site was sold by its current owners as a development site.

A titbit of history: some have suggested that the original Little Welches which overlooked Welches Beach on Welches Road near Oistins in Christ Church, might have been the site of the Mermaid Tavern where the Charter of Barbados between the Roundheads and the Royalist (aka Cavaliers) was signed on 17th January 1652.
