Mike and Natalie’s place was exactly as described . It’s absolutely clear in meeting Mike that he is passionate about Barbados and will give you so many ideas of what to do and where to visit . On arrival they are more than generous with drinks in the fridge , tea and coffee etc and Mike’s excellent banana bread . We really did not want for anything during our stay . The apartment was immaculate and so close to walk to beaches and restaurants. It is perfectly places for touring the island but in a lovely quiet area We cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough

My husband and I just spent 10 days at Mike’s accommodation. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful. Mike couldn’t be more helpful and is very knowledge about Barbados. The apartment is just as you see in the pictures and very comfortable. The location is perfect as there are many food options and beautiful beaches all within walking distance. Would highly recommend.

Mike and Natalie were super hosts! They were attentive, proactive, and gave great recommendations. I like the touch of the baked goodies, drinks and welcome touch. The space was clean, well organized and ideal for my needs and located close to the beach, restaurants, supermarket, etc. I recommend this to anyone desiring to stay on the south coast!

This is a great spot, we really loved the outdoor seating area. Mike was a great host and was always around if you had any questions or need something. It’s close to the beach, grocery store and outdoor food truck . Mike was nice enough to book a restaurant we wanted to try and ordered taxis. It is very clean and comfortable especially after a long day at the beach. The bed is very comfortable and I really liked the walk-in shower. Over all it was a great place and we really enjoyed it.

Staying at Mikes place exceeded our expectations. His place was spotless, beautiful and comfortable. Mike provided excellent recommendations on places to eat and things to do. He responded to any of our inquiries immediately. We did not need a car and were able to walk everywhere. We spent a lot of time sitting on the beautiful back deck which overlooked his pristine gardens. There were even horses behind his place. We would definitely recommend it and can’t wait to return!xxx

We have just returned from 15 wonderful nights at Mike and Natalie’s beautiful home, and it was by far our best Barbados holiday yet. Little Welches is modern, spotless and equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need. From powerful, quiet air con and excellent WiFi to the many thoughtful extras like washing pods and even a citronella candle for the veranda. We were welcomed with an incredibly generous starter pack (tea, coffee, milk, juices, beer, rum and more), plus the most amazing homemade chocolate banana bread. Essentials were also replenished regularly, which made everything feel effortless. We especially loved relaxing on the little veranda with our morning coffee or a “wee rum punch” in the evening, watching the white mare and her newborn foal nearby. M and N were exceptional hosts – warm, attentive and always available if needed, while still giving us complete privacy. Thank you M and N for your kindness and hospitality. We can’t wait to return. 💕xxx

Just spent 11 nights at mikes place . Couldn’t fault it , perfect . Small finishing touches add to the experience. Very quiet and peaceful, Mike was extremely helpful recommending places to eat and visit. Even helped out when a local went into the back of our hire car . Thanks again Mike and Natalie for a wonderful stay . Will definitely stay again when we come back at some point

From start to finish, our stay was perfect. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. What stands out are the thoughtful touches like a fridge stocked with beer, sodas, milk. There was delicious banana bread, coffee, tea and sugar. Plenty of tools for cooking, but as it was a short stay, we ate out for our meals. The neighborhood is safe, lovely and close to so many points of interest. The landscaping around the house was lovely. So many nice plants! Finally, Mike and Nathalie are so friendly, responsive and gave us heaps of tips for where to eat and what to do.

Little Welches was a most enjoyable place to stay. It was a tranquil haven away from the busy main road, and yet only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The apartment was very clean, and exceptionally well cared for! I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Barbados!

We loved our stay at Mike’s beautiful place. He has thought of everything to make it the perfect holiday home! He even left us some of his delicious banana bread, rum punch, beers and soft drinks for our arrival! It is clean, comfortable and in the perfect location to access anywhere on the south coast! It was an easy walk from the house to Rockley beach, bars, eating places and the supermarket. We loved our chats with Mike and he gave us loads of great tips! He even booked a restaurant for us which was fully booked and drove us there! We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was beautifully decorated and in a very nice neighborhood, with all the amenities you would need within walking distance.

Mike and Natalie were really lovely hosts, with lots of tips and recommendations what to see, where to eat etc. On our final day they even let us checkout at 5pm as we had a late flight back home, allowing us to have another day at Rockley beach🌞

We stayed 6 nights here and it had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The welcome treats and goodies were so thoughtful and really helpful since we arrive tired and couldn’t get our rental car until later. Loved having a kitchen, tv and washing machine. The bed was also super comfy and the bathroom was awesome. We really appreciated the hospitality.

What an absolutely perfect place to stay. You can easily walk to the beach and bars, perfect if you don’t have a car. It’s located in a peaceful and quiet area. The apartment was very clean and perfect for our 2 week stay. It’s has everything you need whilst away. Washing machine, toaster, kettle, a comfortable bed, lovely terrace to sip a cold one on.
Mike and Natalie are really brilliant hosts! Extremely helpful, nothing is a problem. Mike has plenty of island suggestions for you to do and see. Excellent recommendations of where to eat out. I really can’t stress how lovely our stay was. Don’t hesitate and book! We’ve visited the island a few times and we will definitely return to Mike and Natalie!

WOW, from the initial booking to the day we left Mike and Natalie were the perfect hosts.
We were greeted on arrival by Mike and Natalie . Mike has then shown us to the apartment which is stunning, and even though the photos are fabulous, they still somehow manage not to do it justice.
From all the little personal touches, the thoughtfulness of drinks, beer and milk in the fridge after a long trip, and the amazing home made banana bread was delicious, the welcome rum is being saved for when we get home.
Mike was full of tips and stories which were greatly received
The bed is super comfy, and the shower is great no problems washing a head of thick hair. Added bonus of shower amenities as these were definitely not expected, this was a welcome surprise.
We could say so much more but ran out of characters. I would say if we return we would definitely stay again, but I think its more of when we return, thank you for our truly amazing stay.

Loved my stay at “Little Welches” apartment– hard to imagine a better place to stay if you are a solo traveler (I’m sure equally great for couples)! Place was extremely clean and comfortable– had everything I could have asked for. Mike was friendly, hospitable, and available to help with any issues.

I would 1000000% recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful abode during their travels. It’s in a convenient location to the beach/many restaurants. Compared to the prices of many hotels in the area it is also EXCELLENT value for money.

Mikes place was phenomenal! The pictures didn’t do justice to what it actually looks like in person. Mike was very responsive and had tons of recommendations and things for us to do. He even took us to a restaurant when one of our reservations cancelled on us due to the weather. Mike went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great time !! Such a kind hearted soul and me and my wife found our home. Every time we come to Barbados we will be staying at Mikes. Oh and let me not forget about all of the basic necessities that we need. Our first time in Barbados and our stay was absolutely amazing!! The pictures don’t do it no justice!! Mike’s place is very cozy and tidy and fully equipped with what you need!! It’s walking distance to the beach and restaurants!! Mike and his wife are the kindest people and are right next door for your convenience!! Now let’s get to his homemade bread that is waiting for you when you arrive!! SO DELICIOUS!! He was even kind enough to bake me a loaf for my 50th Birthday!! We enjoyed our 10 day stay and we will definitely be back!!

Mike and Natalie were amazing hosts! The home was pristine, homey and ideally located near the beaches and the city. The hosts had great recommendations and local knowledge that made our time on the island that much more special. Will definitely stay with them when in Barbados again.

This airbnb made our Barbados experience! The location could not be better on the island and the apartment itself outdid the pictures. Mike and Natalie were very gracious hosts. I felt right at home from the first communication. Mike baked some banana bread that was out of this world! I didn’t want to leave. I was provided with many local restaurant recommendations and nearby stores. Mike met me and helped me with my luggage. The place was very clean, and there is A/C in the living area and bedroom, which is a huge plus. The large bathroom was nice, and there is a mirror light AND mirror defogger to prevent the shower steam from affecting your view. They really thought of everything. I will be back!

It was my first time visiting the island and my stay was nothing short of amazing. The area that we stayed in I felt so safe, Mike and Natalie did an excellent job as host making sure me and my best friend had everything we needed and then some. I would definitely recommend booking again the next time I come back to Barbados. (Mike made some of the best banana bread I’ve ever had!!)

I was absolutely floored by my stay! I would especially like to highlight the incredibly accommodating hosts – their kindness and helpfulness made the stay even more enjoyable. The place itself was very clean, cozy and perfectly located: only about 15 minutes’ walk to the supermarket and about 10 minutes to the beach and the Tiki Bar. Everything was well organized and I felt welcome from the start. Will definitely go back!

If I could give Mike more than 5 stars I absolutely would. The place was fantastic. Clean, good location, everything you could ever want. Absolute bargain. Mike was nothing but hospitable to us, great recommendations of activities, restaurants and more. He helped us in a plethora of ways — do not hesitate to book this stay. I had the pleasure of staying at Mike’s rental and the pictures don’t do it justice. It shows that Mike and Nancy took their time making sure everything you could possibly need was available to you and the place as spotless. (the only thing missing was an iron) Mike makes sure to recommend as many things for you to do while on the Island. Mike even offered a late checkout knowing my flight was later in the day. I can say as a fellow host Im inspired to do better.

Mike was an amazing host ! He was extremely accommodating from beginning to end. He let us check in early and also check out later since we had a late flight back home.

The location was perfect—just an easy 8-minute walk to Rockley Beach, with tons of great restaurants and shops nearby. Everything was super convenient, but the home still felt quiet and tucked away.

Mike was incredibly helpful, and every recommendation he gave us was a hit. The veranda became our favorite spot—mornings with coffee, evenings with wine, and the neighbour’s horses just casually grazing nearby.

This Airbnb and its experience was absolutely wonderful! Both Mike and Natalie were so friendly, kind, and helpful! The Airbnb was a great location, conveniently by multiple locations on the island for drinks and events! It was also right by the beach! The Airbnb was also very clean, well kept, and comfortable. Mike & Natalie also gave me so many recommendations and were always willing to communicate! Any question I had, Mike immediately answered!

These hosts were also very thoughtful and it made me feel at home. They left me a bottle of prosecco, homemade banana bread, and got me a birthday card on the day of my birthday! They taped it to the door for me to wake up to! It was so sweet and great birthday treats!

Impeccably kept….and the location. within walking distance to beaches, restaurants, supermarket. My only complaint is that I could not stay as long as I wanted to.

The bar for AirBnB’s has been set and we will compare all others to Mike’s place. From the initial contact, Mike was exceptional. The location was central on the south coast and close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars. The beaches were within easy walking distance.

Now, let us talk about the accommodations. I felt I was the first guest to stay there. The accommodations were spotless and I mean spotless! Sheets were ironed, how does that, and the bed was super comfortable. Every amenity that you could ever need was there.

The view from the very private, fully covered patio / veranda was so relaxing and we loved observing the mare in the paddock behind the property with her foal, which was born while we were staying there.
In closing, if you are ever on the island, I recommend, without hesitation, staying at Mike and Natalie’s beautiful place. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I spent a wonderful four days at Mike’s apartment in Worthing and can’t recommend it highly enough.

It’s ideally situated a short stroll through leafy residential streets to two beaches and close to all the local shops, restaurants and transport connections.

The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and all the appliances and fittings were modern and maintained to high standards.

We loved eating breakfast or drinking afternoon tea on the breezy veranda.

Mike was very solicitous before and during our stay, answering all our questions and sharing recommendations for places to visit across the island—a place he clearly loves and wants his guests to love too.

Whatever I say cant do justice for not only how stunning the home was, but how incredibly helpful and lovely Mike and Natalie are.

The home is newly built to the highest standard and immaculately clean. There’s nothing I needed or wanted that the home didn’t have. Perfect instant hot water from the shower, AC and ceiling fans, kitchen with all amenities, VERY comfortable bed. My favourite was the veranda – this has chairs and a table and i spent a lot of time here either watching the rain fall or eating my breakfast.

The home aside, Mike and Natalie are so incredibly friendly. I stayed here as a solo woman and they gave me so many great local recommendations. Their neighbourhood is as safe as it gets with brilliant bus connections to the rest of the island, great food spots, and supermarkets – all within walking distance!

I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

The hosts Michael and Natalie have thought of everything including leaving some handy items in the fridge to get your holiday started along with banana cake which was very nice.

The stay is central to some beautiful beaches and bars and it’s easy to get around on the buses.

Michael and Natalie are such a lovely couple and very knowledgeable of the island.

Nothing is too much trouble. I was unwell for a short time and Michael kindly got me some medication from the pharmacy. Anything you need just ask.

I absolutely loved my time at Little Welches.

The apartment is as charming as it is serene; inviting as it is pristine. Tucked to the back of the property looking onward to a horse stable, it provided privacy and solace.

As a clean freak I was pleased to see that the appliances, pots, dinnerware, and linens were clean and well maintained.

Most importantly you could tell Mike took his time to curate a space that was welcoming and homely.

There was complimentary banana bread upon arrival; a fridge stocked with water, beer, milk, and soda; and even tea tree wipes in the bathroom.

There were also outlets with Type C and A inserts at every corner, and AC units throughout the space, which made the hot Bajan days bearable.

Property is finished to an excellent standard, location as described, they’d prepared two booklets, one on the property and equipment, one on the local area with recommendations of places to visit and things to do.

Prior to our arrival Mike asked relevant questions, flight details, purpose of our visit etc., which was for a family christening, on the morning of the event it was raining and an umbrella was left for us to use, their thoughtfulness had no end.

Mike and Natalie were perfect hosts, there when needed and in the background when not.
