2 May: International Polo Season – Sir Charles Memorial Challenge Trophy & Kent Cole Challenge Trophy
The Barbados Polo Club at Holders and the Apes Hill Polo Club, both in the parish of St. James, hold annual international polo matches during the season which runs from January to mid May. Guests are welcome, with a BB$20 entrance fee, and refreshments and afternoon tea are available. Come out and enjoy an exciting game of polo with the entire family!

Feel the vibrant spirit of Barbados as our annual Crop Over Season sweeps you into a kaleidoscope of colours, music and tradition from July to August.

This six-week-long festival, culminating in the explosive Grand Kadooment Day, is a celebration of the island’s African roots mixed with Caribbean flair. Imagine the rhythmic beats of soca and calypso filling the air, while bands of revellers parade through the streets in feathered and sequinned costumes. Crop Over is more than just a party; it’s a cultural expression steeped in history.

23-31 May: Rally Barbados 2026:

This is the Barbados Rally Club’s premier event, which has grown into the Caribbean’s biggest annual motorsport international event and a keystone of the island’s sports-tourism calendar.

BCIC Rally Barbados and its ‘shakedown’ event, King of the Hill, are organised by the Barbados Rally Club, which celebrates its 69th Anniversary in 2026.

The Rally Show and King of the Hill events will take place from 23rd to 24th May, 2026 and the BCIC Rally Barbados will take place from the 29th to 31st May.
