Staying with Mike and Natalie was a highlight of our trip to Barbados.

We couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb experience. They were very friendly and helpful both before we arrived and throughout our stay. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. They even stocked the fridge with cold beverages and milk for our coffee in the mornings (coffee was also provided).

The check in process was very smooth with them showing us the space and explaining all amenities (AC, Safe, washer, stove, etc.).

The space was extremely clean and spotless. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio. It was very comfortable and relaxing.

Mike provided many suggestions for places to see, where to snorkel, and where to eat. He was also very responsive over text answering any questions we had while we were out about.

We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We highly recommend you stay at “Little Welches” and be sure to do some snorkelling on the reef at walkable Rockley Beach.

We had such a great stay. Mike and Natalie’s place was spotless, beautifully put together, and felt welcoming from the second we walked in. There were cold drinks in the fridge and fresh-baked bread on the stove—such a thoughtful touch after traveling.

The location was perfect – just an easy 8-minute walk to Rockley Beach, with tons of great restaurants and shops nearby. Everything was super convenient, but the home still felt quiet and tucked away.

Mike was incredibly helpful, and every recommendation he gave us was a hit. The veranda became our favorite spot – mornings with coffee, evenings with wine, and the neighbor’s horses just casually grazing nearby.

This place really made our trip. If it’s available, book it. You won’t regret it.

We also chose Mike & Natalie’s place because of the great location – and it truly is. It’s an easy walk to beautiful Rockley beach, favorite restaurants and is close to easy bus or taxi routes around the island.

This Airbnb and its experience was absolutely wonderful! Both Mike and Natalie were so friendly, kind, and helpful! The Airbnb was a great location, conveniently by multiple locations on the island for drinks and events! It was also right by the beach! The Airbnb was also very clean, well kept, and comfortable. Mike & Natalie also gave me so many recommendations and were always willing to communicate! Any question I had, Mike immediately answered!

These hosts were also very thoughtful and it made me feel at home. They left me a bottle of prosecco, homemade banana bread, and got me a birthday card on the day of my birthday! They taped it to the door for me to wake up to! It was so sweet and great birthday treats!

They also were very understanding of my need for safety or all my questions before I booked. It made me feel less anxious and perfectly ok to travel solo. It is very well worth the stay!!! You won’t be disappointed, better than a hotel in my opinion! Thank you Mike & Natalie!

I will totally recommend Mike’s place to anyone looking for a little peace and quiet but still close enough to everything. It was perfect !

Impeccably kept….and the location. within walking distance to beaches, restaurants, supermarket. My only complaint is that I could not stay as long as I wanted to.

The bar for AirBnB’s has been set and we will compare all others to Mike’s place. From the initial contact, Mike was exceptional. The location was central on the south coast and close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars. The beaches were within easy walking distance.

Now, let us talk about the accommodations. I felt I was the first guest to stay there. The accommodations were spotless and I mean spotless! Sheets were ironed, how does that, and the bed was super comfortable. Every amenity that you could ever need was there.

The view from the very private, fully covered patio / veranda was so relaxing and we loved observing the mare in the paddock behind the property with her foal, which was born while we were staying there.
In closing, if you are ever on the island, I recommend, without hesitation, staying at Mike and Natalie’s beautiful place. You will not be disappointed.

Not only did we enjoy our stay there, but I am happy to now call Mike and Natalie our friends!

Great location, walking distance to Worthing & Rockley beach and close to transport routes round the island and quiet during the evenings.

The airbnb itself was lovely, very spacious and had everything we needed and more.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Mike’s place in January we loved the Island so wanted to adventure round for the week.

We didn’t know much about where was safe to stay but trusted Mike’s Airbnb and we LOVED IT!

Me and my partner stayed in Mike and Natalie’s place for a week in December.

From before our arrival, Mike was always responsive, offered us many suggestions on things we may want to book prior to our trip eg tours, car rental companies, restaurants.

Mike and Natalie greeted us in person on arrival.

The apartment itself is beautiful and stocked with everything we could need including condiments, milk and Mike’s homemade banana bread. The bed is also super comfortable!

The neighbourhood is really peaceful and a close walk to great beaches and amenities. The neighbours we met are also really friendly and helpful.

Overall our stay well exceeded our expectations.

Mike is an absolutely incredible host who is always on hand with any issues and is an absolute legend.

My husband and I spent a wonderful four days at Mike’s apartment in Worthing and can’t recommend it highly enough.

It’s ideally situated a short stroll through leafy residential streets to two beaches and close to all the local shops, restaurants and transport connections.

The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and all the appliances and fittings were modern and maintained to high standards.

We loved eating breakfast or drinking afternoon tea on the breezy veranda.

Mike was very solicitous before and during our stay, answering all our questions and sharing recommendations for places to visit across the island—a place he clearly loves and wants his guests to love too.

We certainly hope to stay again!

Whatever I say cant do justice for not only how stunning the home was, but how incredibly helpful and lovely Mike and Natalie are.

The home is newly built to the highest standard and immaculately clean. There’s nothing I needed or wanted that the home didn’t have. Perfect instant hot water from the shower, AC and ceiling fans, kitchen with all amenities, VERY comfortable bed. My favourite was the veranda – this has chairs and a table and i spent a lot of time here either watching the rain fall or eating my breakfast.

The home aside, Mike and Natalie are so incredibly friendly. I stayed here as a solo woman and they gave me so many great local recommendations. Their neighbourhood is as safe as it gets with brilliant bus connections to the rest of the island, great food spots, and supermarkets – all within walking distance!

I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

Mike and Natalie’s Little Welches is the best kept secret.

What a quaint and peaceful retreat. Little Welches is clean beautify and carries all of the amenities.

Both Mike and Natalie are wonderful people who made my stay even more pleasurable.

They are my favourite and I do hope to visit them in the near future.

The hosts Michael and Natalie have thought of everything including leaving some handy items in the fridge to get your holiday started along with banana cake which was very nice.

The stay is central to some beautiful beaches and bars and it’s easy to get around on the buses.

Michael and Natalie are such a lovely couple and very knowledgeable of the island.

Nothing is too much trouble. I was unwell for a short time and Michael kindly got me some medication from the pharmacy. Anything you need just ask.

I’m definitely coming back to stay here again. 😎

I absolutely loved my time at Little Welches.

The apartment is as charming as it is serene; inviting as it is pristine. Tucked to the back of the property looking onward to a horse stable, it provided privacy and solace.

As a clean freak I was pleased to see that the appliances, pots, dinnerware, and linens were clean and well maintained.

Most importantly you could tell Mike took his time to curate a space that was welcoming and homely.

There was complimentary banana bread upon arrival; a fridge stocked with water, beer, milk, and soda; and even tea tree wipes in the bathroom.

There were also outlets with Type C and A inserts at every corner, and AC units throughout the space, which made the hot Bajan days bearable.

Most importantly, Mike and his wife were friendly, approachable hosts, who often went out of their way to ensure that

I felt at home in the space. Whenever I need to book accommodation in Barbados again, Little Welches will certainly be my go-to option… if they’ll have me.

As my first Airbnb booking I hope future bookings Iive up to the standards Mike & Natalie have set.

The attention to detail is second to none, from welcome to departure they’d thought of everything, water, soft drinks, beers chilling in the fridge, coffee, tea, milk, even Bajan cake for our arrival.

Property is finished to an excellent standard, location as described, they’d prepared two booklets, one on the property and equipment, one on the local area with recommendations of places to visit and things to do.

Prior to our arrival Mike asked relevant questions, flight details, purpose of our visit etc., which was for a family christening, on the morning of the event it was raining and an umbrella was left for us to use, their thoughtfulness had no end.

Mike and Natalie were perfect hosts, there when needed and in the background when not.

I’d highly recommend Little Welches if you’re looking for quality.

Last but not least as only get 1000 words, 4-poster bed AMAZING.
